BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 150 - AN ACT
FURTHER AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED TWO HUNDRED SIXTY AS
AMENDED, BY INCLUDING SIX-HUNDRED-YEAR-OLD KARIM UL-MAKHDUM MOSQUE OF
SIMUNUL, TAWI-TAWI, AMONG THE NATIONAL LANDMARKS AND MONUMENTS DECLARED
AS NATIONAL SHRINES |
Section 1.
Section One of Presidential Decree Numbered Two Hundred sixty is hereby
amended as follows: "Section 1. The
Sta. Ana Site Museum in Manila, the Roman Catholic Churches of Paoay
and Bacarra in Ilocos Norte, the San Agustin Church and Liturgical
objects therein in Intramuros, Manila, Fort Pilar in Zamboanga City,
the Karim ul-Makhdum Mosque in Simunul, Tawi-Tawi, the Petroglyphs of
the Rockshelter in Angono, Rizal, the Petroglyphs of Alab, Bontoc, the
Stone Agricultural Calendars of Dapay Guiday in Besao, Bontoc, the
Mummy Caves of Kabayan, Benguet and of Sagada and Alab, Bontoc, the
Ifugao Rice Terraces of Banaue are hereby declared as National Cultural
Treasures along lines of Sec. 3 and 7 of R.A. No. 4846 defining
cultural properties and treasures, and their preservation, restoration
and/or reconstruction shall be under the supervision and control of the
National Museum in collaboration with the Department of
Tourism."
Sec. 2. The provisions of existing laws governing national shrines and landmarks shall be applied to the Karim ul-Makhdum Mosque of Simunul, Tawi-Tawi. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: February 8, 1982. (P.B. No. 336) |
