REPUBLIC ACTS
AN ACT EXCLUDING FROM THE BAGUIO
TOWNSITE RESERVATION AND FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 10
DATED FEBRUARY 9, 1924, AND PROCLAMATION NO. 63 DATED AUGUST 6, 1925,
WHICH ESTABLISHED THE FORBES FOREST RESERVATION AND THE GOVERNMENT
CENTER RESERVATION, RESPECTIVELY, ALL SITUATED IN THE CITY OF BAGUIO,
ISLAND OF LUZON, CERTAIN PORTIONS OF LAND WITHIN LOTS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 AND
6 EMBRACED THEREIN AND DECLARING THE SAME ALIENABLE AND DISPOSABLE
LANDS FOR DISPOSITION TO QUALIFIED APPLICANTS UNDER REPUBLIC ACT NO.
730.

Section
1. It is hereby declared the policy of the State to
provide for the land and housing needs of its inhabitants and to ensure
affordable access to land by middle and lower sectors of society as
lawful opportunities may permit.
Sec. 2. Certain portions of land within Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, all of Parcels I and II of the Forbes Forest Reservation are hereby declared excluded from the Baguio Townsite Reservation and from the operation of Proclamation No. 10 dated February 19, 1924 and Proclamation No. 63 dated August 6, 1925, which established the Forbes Forest Reservation and the Government Center Reservation, respectively, in the City of Baguio, Island of Luzon. Sec. 3. These excluded portions of land, more particularly described as follows:

of the Philippines for Residential Purposes to Qualified Applicants
under Certain Conditions," through the City Government of
Baguio. The Land Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the City Government of Baguio are hereby directed to conduct a validation survey of the disposable lands under this Act and to effect their sale to qualified applicants. Sec. 5. All laws, decrees, orders, rules and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. Sec. 6. This Act shall take effect after its publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
