REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8035 - AN ACT
SEPARATING THE CALIMBAJAN TINA BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX IN BARANGAY
CAYANGWAN, MAKATO, AKLAN, FROM THE CALIMBAJAN BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL, IN
BARANGAY CALIMBAJAN, AND CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL
HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE CAYANGWAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR. |
Section
1. The Calimbajan Tina Barangay High School Annex in
Barangay Cayangwan, Makato, Aklan, is hereby separated from the
Calimbajan Barangay High School in Barangay Calimbajan, and converted
into an independent national high school, to be known as the Cayangwan
National High School. Sec. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act. Sec. 3. All personnel, records, assets and liabilities of the Calimbajan Tina Barangay High School Annex are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Cayangwan National High School. Sec. 4. The amount necessary to carry out provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. Sec. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. (Note: Lapse into law on June 5, 1995 without the signature of the President in accordance with Article VI, Sec. 27 (1) of the Constitution.) |
