REPUBLIC ACTS
REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4468 - AN ACT
CREATING A SCHOOL OF HOME INDUSTRIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ORANI,
PROVINCE OF BATAAN, TO BE KNOWN AS BATAAN NATIONAL SCHOOL FOR FILIPINO
CRAFTSMEN, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

Section
1. There shall be established in the Municipality of
Orani, Province of Bataan, under the supervision and administration of
the Home Industries Division, Bureau of Vocational Education, a school
for home industries to be known as Bataan National School for Filipino
Craftsmen. Sec. 2. Subject to the approval of the Secretary of Education, the Director of Vocational Education is hereby authorized to organize the curricular instruction in said school which shall include the secondary home industries curriculum and opportunity classes for the exploitation and fabrication of indigenous raw materials into well designed standardized handcraft articles, and to issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act. Sec. 3. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school, the amount to include the cost of acquiring site and construction of needed buildings. A reasonable portion of its operational funds shall be set aside for expansion training in the different localities of the province. Thereafter, the necessary funds for its operation and improvement of educational facilities shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. Sec. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 19, 1965 |
