REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4426 - AN ACT TO AMEND REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE, ENTITLED "AN ACT GRANTING ENRIQUE M. OROZCO, RESIDING AT NUMBER FOUR HUNDRED FORTY-ONE-C, ISABEL, SAMPALOC, MANILA, PHILIPPINES, A TEMPORARY PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, INSTALL, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE PUBLIC RADIOTELEPHONE AND RADIOTELEGRAPH COASTAL STATIONS, AND PUBLIC FIXED AND PUBLIC BASED AND LAND MOBILE STATIONS FOR THE RECEPTION AND TRANSMISSION OF RADIOTELEPHONE AND RADIOTELEGRAPH COMMUNICATIONS WITHIN THE PHILIPPINES"
1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Thirty-two
hundred twenty-nine is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. There is hereby granted and conceded to Enrique M. Orozco and Sons, Inc., residing at Number Four hundred forty-one-C, Isabel, Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines, its successors or assigns, and hereunder referred to as the grantee a franchise to construct, install, maintain and operate radio stations in the Philippines not at present adequately served by radiotelegraph and/or radiotelephone systems, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Public Works and Communications or any licensing authority, commercial radiotelegraph and/or radiotelephone communications stations, with corresponding relay stations in the interisland, maritime, aeronautical and international public services, and stations in the broadcasting, television, radiophoto, and facsimile services, both national and/or international to provide radio communications services and equipment to private firms and companies and corporations within their respective internal framework, and/or to communicate from within with grantee's station or stations."
Sec. 2. The title of the same Act is hereby amended to read as follows:
"An Act granting Enrique M. Orozco and Sons, Inc., residing at Number Four hundred forty-one-C, Isabel, Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines, a temporary permit to construct, install, maintain and operate public radiotelephone and radiotelegraph coastal stations, and public fixed and public based and land mobile stations, for the reception and transmission of radiotelephone and radiotelegraph communications within the Philippines."
Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
