REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3983 - AN ACT
CREATING THE POSITION OF ONE ASSISTANT CITY FISCAL FOR CAVITE CITY,
AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE Sec. TWENTY-FOUR OF THE CHARTER OF SAID CITY

Section 1. The first
paragraph of Section twenty-four of Commonwealth Act Numbered Five
hundred forty-seven, otherwise known as the Charter of the City of
Cavite, as amended, is further amended to read as
follows: "Sec. 24. The City fiscal � His assistant � His powers and duties. � The Law Department shall consist of the city fiscal who shall be the chief adviser of the city and one assistant city fiscal. The city fiscal shall receive a salary of not exceeding five thousand seven hundred pesos per annum and the assistant city fiscal, not exceeding five thousand one hundred pesos per annum. Said assistant city fiscal shall be appointed by the President of the Philippines with the consent of the Commission on Appointments. The city fiscal shall have the following powers and duties. Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 18, 1964 |
