REPUBLIC ACTS
AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION NINETEEN
HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT OF THE REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE CODE SO AS TO CHANGE
IN TERMS OF PESOS, PHILIPPINE CURRENCY, INSTEAD OF DOLLARS, UNITED
STATES CURRENCY, THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR WHICH A MONEY ORDER MAY BE
ISSUED

"Sec.
1968. Maximum amount payable by money order. � No
money order shall be issued for a greater sum than two hundred pesos
Philippine currency; and unless specifically authorized by the Director
of Posts, no postmaster shall directly or indirectly sell more than ten
money orders in one day to one party payable to the same person."
Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
