REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5320 - AN
ACT AMENDING THE FIRST PARAGRAPH OF SECTION THIRTY-TWO, AND SECTION
THIRTY-THREE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE,
ENTITLED "AN ACT TO REVISE THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CALBAYOG"

Section
1. The first paragraph of Section thirty-two of
Republic Act Numbered Thirty-two hundred seventy-nine, otherwise known
as the Revised Charter of the City of Calbayog, as amended to read as
follows: "Sec. 32. The Chief of Police. � His powers and duties. There shall be a chief of police who shall have charge of the police department and shall receive a salary of five thousand four hundred pesos per annum. He shall be assisted in the discharge of his duties by a deputy chief of police who shall receive a salary of not less than three thousand six hundred pesos per annum. The chief of police shall have the following powers and duties: Sec. 2. Section thirty-three of the same Act is amended to read as follows: "Sec. 33. Chief of Secret Service. � There shall be a chief of the secret service who shall, under the chief of police, have charge of the detective work of the department and of the detective force of the city, and shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to him by the chief of police or prescribed by law or ordinance. The chief of the secret service shall receive a salary of not less than two thousand four hundred pesos per annum. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Enacted without Executive
